While classroom learning is an efficient way for schools to help as many students as possible, it’s not the best way to educate every learning style. Countless studies have shown the benefits of a one-on-one tutor – students who receive the individual attention of a good teacher show immediate results that they rarely do in the classroom. A knowledgeable, attentive tutor who can help you with your classes can make all the difference when it comes to improving your grades and your college application. Application Boot Camp® offers one-one-one tutoring in nearly every academic subject – our team of experienced, Ivy League tutors will provide you with the guidance you need on your schedule in the comfort of your own home.
Our team of tutors is composed of Columbia and Princeton graduates with extensive teaching experience in a wide variety of subjects – we offer help in every non-language academic subject. Our tutors will create unique, customized curriculums and lesson plans based on your school’s subject material, and will make sure that you’re ahead of the class in every subject. We have tutors in all branches of math, science, and the humanities, who can help improve your grades by as much as possible in the least amount of time. Using unique online software, our tutors can meet with you at a time of your choosing – our software features hands-free chat, an interactive virtual whiteboard, and advanced tools that allow you and your tutor to share and edit documents, view images, and browse the web simultaneously – all you need is a computer with an internet connection and you’re ready to get started.
Our tutors are trained to immediately diagnose students’ strengths and weaknesses, figure out the most important areas to improve upon, and teach students accordingly. Each hour that you spend with our tutors will be tailor-made for your specific needs. Students find that the attention and expertise of a skilled, one-on-one teacher can bring out results that they’ve never seen before in a typical classroom setting.

In particular, he likes to work with students in the subjects of math, chemistry, physics, computer science, and economics. In between his studies and his tutoring, he volunteers in various teaching roles around the campus neighborhood.

Testimonials for ABC® Academic Tutoring:
“I cannot tell you how much we appreciate Ryder. Jesse is doing better and better at chemistry which he really felt he did not understand. His last grade on a test was 96! Ryder’s far reaching knowledge of chemistry is matched by an amazing ability to translate foreign sounding concepts into meaningful knowledge; my son went from feeling “in the dark” to a sense of having the subject illuminated for him. Clearly a brilliant science student himself, Ryder seems to have a real gift as a teacher, having a sophisticated grasp of his subject and of his student.”
— S.S.
“My calculus tutor was extremely adept in the subject and explained everything well. Definitely recommend him to anyone in need of truly learning math, rather than simply learning how to pass a course.”
