Overview of Services
A series of college tours is arranged for a student and his/her parents to explore several college campuses, according to the needs and travel preferences of the family.
Once on campus, students and parents will have the opportunity to experience:
- A detailed information session – During this session, you will learn about admissions requirements, academic requirements and more about each school. In addition, students will usually be able to participate in a Q & A session.
- A guided campus tour – During this tour, you will have the opportunity to visit student housing, student union, library, classrooms, campus bookstore, athletic facilities, administrative offices, campus facilities, the surrounding area, etc… to see a “day in the life” of a student at the school.

- Students have the opportunity to visit a variety of schools, allowing them to determine first-hand, the type of campus that is best suited for their learning style (small college, urban or metropolitan setting, rural setting, private/public University, co-ed campus, etc…).

DR. MICHELE HERNANDEZ is known as America’s premier college consultant through her work with high school students and her best selling books: A is for Admission (Warner), The Middle School Years (Warner), and Acing the College Application (Ballantine).

Dr. Hernández graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Dartmouth College in 1989 and went on to earn a Master’s degree in English and comparative literature from Columbia University and a doctorate in education. She is married to Bruce Bayliss, former headmaster of the International School in Portland, Oregon. They have two children, ages 11 and 5, and two golden retrievers and a Gordon setter. The family lives in Weybridge, Vermont.
