They try to prepare you for the test by teaching you things like the contrapositive and having you learn baroque classification systems for the logic games. This takes a long time and tends not to produce results, because the LSAT doesn’t require you to know what the contrapositive is, and because the classification systems are based on a superficial analysis of the logic games, not on an understanding of their fundamental functioning.
